Does this smell fishy to you?
Love food? Love naked women? Well, if you’re looking to combine the two for an exceptionally titillating dining experience, don’t go to China:
China’s State Administration of Industry and Commerce issued a notice this weekend banning meals served on naked bodies, officially canceling the service offered by a restaurant in southwestern China that served sushi on unclothed female university students, a Beijing newspaper reported Sunday. The practice of eating raw fish off the body of an unclad woman is called nyotaimori in Japanese, and despite the fact that it’s apparently a rich Japanese tradition, opportunities to partake in this lovely cultural marvel are now quite scarce. I certainly haven’t had the good fortune of dining off the succulent bare flesh of a ravishing young nymph — actually, the closest I’ve ever come has been dining on the succulent bear flesh of a ravaging young cub (*rimshot*). Most likely, just like no-pan shabu-shabu, the few remaining establishments have gone underground, and one must have the contacts and the moolah (both of which I am sorely lacking) to indulge in their services.
Here’s one of the few articles about nyotaimori that I could find in English (although I imagine most of it is blatantly made up), and here’s a Japanese site with a veritible shopping list of what one needs to partake in such a feast as well as some diagrams detailing how to aesthetically arrange the food on a woman’s body.
It’s a shame that the Chinese government had to go and ruin all the fun. “Insults people’s moral quality,” blah blah blah. I honestly don’t see the harm, as long as all parties are willing participants and proper hygiene is observed. Stupid commies.

What I continue to find fascinating is how males of various cultures manage to make a science out of stuff to do with sex with all kinds of objects, not limited to the female person, and sell it to each other. Whether it’s used panties sold pre-packed in vending machines or a stripper lady at a birthday/stag party.
The one thing that women do in that vein that comes to my mind right away is visiting Chippendale shows. Not that I have ever been there, you need to get drunk to really enjoy it from what I see in documentaries - I don’t like alcohol.
To summarise, I guess one will find any kind of perversion? deviating sexual practice? sold for money somewhere in the world, if one really is looking. Whether the customers take it seriously or only want to have naughty peeks at something doesn’t seem to matter.
It’s somewhat sad from a romantic point of view. Ah well. At least here the girls (like strippers or anonymous panty-selling teenagers) can chose what they want to do: I had the strangest image of that famous scene from the first Brooke Shields movie, where she plays that child prostitute about to be introduced into the brothel and is served to the customers on a platter.
*shudders*

I now know the word for that. Ever since “Showdown in Little Tokyo” I’ve wanted to know that word. My day has a good start to it

Can I see the dessert menu ?

elkenarra: No worries man, I thought it was funny. I appreciate your stopping by.
Estara: Wow, thanks for introducing the very first intelligent content this site has ever seen.
Actually, this side of human nature really emphasizes to me the fact that, despite our big brains, opposable thumbs and lofty ideals, mankind is just another species of animal. We suffer from the same base urges, but we’re able to indulge in them to our hearts’ delight if we have the money to pay for it.
While such activities may be corrupt from a moral standpoint, if it’s safe & consensual, is it truly “bad” or harmful? Like I mentioned in the post, I’ve never had the opportunity to partake in nyotaimori, but if the opportunity were to present itself, I don’t think I would immediately turn it down based on moral grounds (but then again, I am a filthy pervert
). Anyhow, thanks for the thought-provoking comments. I think you’re right that (perhaps unfortunately) almost anything can be had for a price.
Dave: Thanks, I’m glad to have been able to contribute to your morning.
seano: Why limit yourself only to the dessert menu? Behold, the complete menu:
[Obligatory disclaimer: To anyone offended by the sight of naked women tastefully decorated with a mouth-watering assortment of delicious food items, scroll no further. You have been warned.]
And now, after spending the past hour on Google scouring the internet for those images, I am going to bed. . . .

You know, the girls don’t look as if they enjoy it too much.
One thing my first post might not have made so clear - judging by your answer - is that I wouldn’t mind this as playful (playing with your food? ^^) sex between people who actually like and want ONE ANOTHER!! As in: not for money to pay the bills. As you said: consensual and for love play - that’s what I wouldn’t even call perversion then. The perversity comes with bartering the body and power play.
If the lady/chap in question is in good physical shape I would imagine it being rather sexy and fun in the best senses of the words.
It’s an idea for you and your lady? Or not? Hmm

Estara: From what I understand, nyotaimori generally doesn’t involve sexual activity. The presence of the nude women is more for aesthetics than for sexual arousal (although one can’t count it out completely). If the woman was passed around following the meal to be ravished by all of the participants for dessert, however, I’d probably hold a different view.
Oh, and I don’t think Judy would be up for playing the part of a tray for me to eat off of. Alas.
sicari antonino: Grazie per il commento! You make some good points. It doesn’t seem that naked sushi is going to do much to help the advancement of civilization. . . .
